When specimens have a personality

I swear, some specimens seem to have a mind of their own. The other day, I swear I heard a culture dish mutter something about being ‘too vital to expire’ right before it cracked! Specimen handling is serious business, but you can’t help but chuckle at the quirks we encounter on the job.

I had a petri dish once that seemed to grow in a ‘come at me, bro’ formation whenever I handled it too roughly! You’d think they’d realize we’re just trying to help, but they must think they’re stage performers or something. @lab_laughs, ever seen a specimen throw a tantrum?
